Writing Update

Have finished editing the dreaded first novel and it's off to the universe to see if an Agent picks it up.

I've just started the next one, a psychological horror, which gives me the creeps when I finish a chapter and edit it. All my innermost fears and vulnerabilities are coming out onto the page. It's coming out in a non linear way, which takes some getting used to. The voice of the antagonist arrived first which is a bit odd, but there you have it. I'm working on exposing the shadowy parts of the human psyche, from the point of view of a family living in the Murray-lands.

The Bruce Holland Rogers, Narrative Structures course really helped me outline the novel and keep it goal focused. I'll be using this for my MA which should be done and dusted June 2012!
